Was there a motor problem Phil, or just a little short on power?

Love the sound of the two Bentley's(?) starting up!!

Short of power. It just didn't have the cojones to get off the ground. The three bladed props should be changed for two.
The model is heavier than the 17 lbs slated because of the battery load, so I'll have a chat with Dave Wilshire who specced the model
and see what he recommends.

Yes, the motors sound good!

Actually now I'm being told that I've got to increase the load and amp draw on the engines foir more power so we're going up to 18 x 12 x 3 props.
Electricity - sheesh. You've always got to rely on some bright spark....

Motors and Rotors sent through the new props and Hamerite and I put them on. 18 x 12 x 3 - lots of pitch.

When we ran them up, the model showed 30 A draw at full chat, so that's 50% more than before and seems to pull well.

Have to wait for the wind to drop; so we can try her again... Should clear the gate now. Angel

Might need an escort of Mustangs next time around Twisted Evil

The Major cheers
