This is the new Mintor 33cc petrol engine, I bought today from SMC.
Beautifully made from solid alluminium, it uses the popular Rcxcel ignition unit and can turn props from 18x8 to 20x7!!

These shots compare The Mintor 33 to the Zenoah 20. The bare engine weight is very similar but the airbourne pack (including silencer and ignition unit) is slightly less on the Mintor!

I look forward to seeing if this engine is "All looks" or if it will cut it with the current range of 30ish cc petrol power plants!

Hi Ian Read a good thread last night guy tested his Mintor 33 against his Dle30 also a Syssa 30

20/6 prop

Mintor 33--- 6700
Syssa 30----6700
DLE 30----7200

He said he was a little disappointed, but put the extra rpm down to the very noisy muffler on the DLE, the mintor is a lot quieter and sounded much better Bravo
