Duxford have been extremely unlucky this year as they had two aircraft crash on the Sunday.

Yeah, I've looked at this loads of times and the Mussie doesn't seem to have suffered any major damage. I haven't found out why it was ditched... scratch Anybody know what prevented it from being landed?? scratch

He says it went out of control but it looked like he levelled out after the collision. Question Question

I read that the rudder and elevator control linkages were damaged... and Rob turned everything off, before he bailed out, which maybe the reasion it did not catch fire.. also a rebuild has been proposed as fusalages are being remade..
