Thought it was a good un...Daughters boyfriend has a DJI Inspire for business use. He has spent a fortune to do it all legally with CAA approvals etc, insurance is over 800 and that still doesn't allow overflying crowds or being closer than 50mtrs. Doing really well with technology above my understanding...He can over fly a quarry and estimate the amount of sand etc that has been extracted to within 0.2 of a metre. The training is almost as intense as a PPL. Does yours have the gps and hands off capability??

Yep...you can fly to way points or record a flight and replay it...it returns to home etc...is very clever.

I thought about doing the certificates and trying to do it on the side as a small business...as my employer is trialing them at the mo. Looked into costs and to do night flying and get advanced caa permit was nearly 2k!

I have only flown it at the field as keen to do it right...too many people buy them and are silly and will ruin it for us proper modellers. Is good fun though...will stick it in the car next time going to field and you can have a go.
