The Klasskoting of the small Spit turned out so well, I'm going to respray the big 'un. It's a bit too matt at present and needs to have a dull, metallic feel. This is the one whose nose broke off when the prop broke. Can't wait to get it airborne again.

Those two pictures of the Spit in flight, look fantastic.

I fancy a big Warbird (yes, as well as my Tigercat!) for 50cc engine. I also fancy a 50cc 3D scale jobby (Sbach, Extra or similar). In fact, I would like lots of planes, but, as the wife points out, I already have that!!

Looking forward to seeing it fly Phil.

Actually, an awesome flier would be the 55 cc Warhawk. Just love the shape of that bird! Looking forward to your Tigercat. Brilliant machine. I've dug out some pictures of my one.

Klasskoted the Big Spit this pm. Got a nice metallic feel to it now. Brill.
(Compare it with the matt look further up the post).

Phil
Can Klasscote be applied to any covering?
My Tigercat has a very matt film type covering that could do with brightening up

Yes, I would do two light gloss coats to seal and finish any weathering.
I used satin on the Spits. Matt probably for the Hurricane.
