Dug out the sig kit yesterday, cleared all the crap off the bench and will try and get back into getting it finished. but this is how I left it with the fuse part built..

in fact I have done more since the pictures were taken, such as Firewall in and it near completion.

I will get more pictures up ASAP.
Only waiting for some new wood clue "Titebond"

Only I have another stick build arriving in the next few days to accompany the electric retracts.. but you will have to wait to see what that is.

Started up the build this afternoon! only had to move down stairs as every time I went up to the small bedroom to build someone came to the door and I had to go down.

SO set up under the window now.

SO far so good.

I have the sheeting soaking over night so it will bend to the contour of the nose.

Have been doing a bit hour by hour over the last few days but when you need to let the glue go off you can only do parts at a time but as you can see #I have got the fuselage almost complete with the side stringers on that gives it its shape when covered.

I now need to cut out the sections of tail feathers then clue them together and also the rudder.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures as they were taken with my phone and in the light of the evening not such clear.

Your certainly cracking on Daron, know what you mean by waiting for the glue to set as your eager to get more construction done but the glue says " Hey hold up let me dry first"  Mad

Us Aeromodellers are an impatient bunch  lol!
Good job so far  Bravo

Its been an enjoyable build so far...But I want to finish this one before I contemplate the Hurricane..

But I was thinking of putting this engine in as then it will not need the dummy engines on.

Its the OS Gemini FT 120

Nice engine!
I have one in my Precedent Turbulant. Not particularly powerful, but ideal for the Cub. Very smooth running and will idle soooooo sloooooow!

Really looking great Darren, I can see the progress you're making. I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's finished and flying this year. By the way mate, thanks for all your help uploading to the website. Much appreciated.

I agree it would be perfect for it but at the most possible time just had to spend out £300 in lift service and parts but a big thank you Ian I do appreciate you looking... Bravo in a few months time may be.

Gutted though.
