Does anybody know a source for in cowl silencers??

I don't want the exhaust hanging out the nose of the se5 when i've built it so i made enquiries with Just engines who are usually OK but they said they could 'make one up' for £50..seems a bit steep.

I thought about machining an ali block to act as a 90 degree bend to mount the standard silencer below the engine but don't want to waste time if it won't work

any ideas??

i have a manifold which i think fits os engines and a dustmin type silencer that connect via length of silicone tubing meaqsure the spacing between the exaust mount holes and if this is the same you have it for cup tea no use to me
