| engines? Sadly, electrics because I want to take it home every night. 4 x 5000 mAh lipos plus a 5000mAh one for the receiver. The engines are pokey ones - don't have the specs. The front fuselage arrived crushed unfortunately so I'm having Ripmax send a replacement. 120" wingspan. Sure will look good in the air. The Major |

| In that respect I do not blame your decision to go electric one little bit. I look forward to seeing and videoing it | |

| 5000mah battery for the receiver......Why? You planning on crossing the channel with it?
My Bobcat uses just under 200ma per flight from each of the two receiver batteries, so 400ma per flight. 5000ma of capacity will last all weekend...and the next one!! Mind you, if you need the ballast, it's better to have "usable" weight than "church roof"
Hope to see you tomorrow.
Anyone know if the field is clear of snow?? | |

| Hi Ian Apparently the plane flies for 15-20 minutes and has 12 servos. Plus there is a ballast issue and the instructions say it could use up to a kilo of weight up front! What time are you going down to the patch tomorra? The Major |

| Do we have any electric engine specialists in the club? I've hit a damnable impasse on the Fortress project.

| I've got to go on a book tour Down Under in a few weeks, so I'm tempted to wait until I get back in April. If we get a decent day in the meantime, I might be tempted. It needs a ton of weight in the front. I'll need to find a church roof.... - P |

| Very nice that's a beast it's going to look wicked in air. i'm no expert but i don't think you'll get the range with one of those "Panasonic" controllers or is for an on board sound system. | |

I accidentally dropped my stereo remote into a bucket of soapy water cleaning off the Spitfire. That shot's of it drying Are on-board sound systems good or naff? I've never heard one. |

| The Fortress is finished. It needed 3.75 lbs of lead in the front, so several churches are going to be a bit windy over the next few weeks. Resolved the problem with the motors, so I'll maiden this puppy when I get back from Oz. the Major BTW I heard that CM Pro aren't doing Adrian's Mossie any more. What a blow. |
