			<description>I'll start, although it's not really a disaster, just a bit of a shame....



The weekend before last, I took my &quot;Thing&quot; (1.0m purple delta) to the field. During it's first flight, the battery pack went flat and it ended up in the corn field.

I did walk along the two tracks to the area where it went in, but due to the tall crop, could not see it. I didn't want to walk through the corn incase (1) I damaged the corn (2) Didn't know what time of year Adders are about!!

Great start to getting this forum chatting again,i thought it had run out of fuel   

Will keep a look out for your Thing Ian,hope it dont bite   Grumpy is keeping very busy with his various build projects on some very nice looking models.
